If you're on keto or another low-carb diet, you can still enjoy the sweet, savory goodness of the holidays that comes with a cup of hot chocolate. I recently made this keto cocoa for my family and it's delicious! I's way creamier than boxed brands and even those who aren't on any type of diet will enjoy it.
1T unsalted butter
1 part heavy whipping cream
2 parts water
stevia to taste
Pour the water and heavy whipping cream in a pot on the stove and on medium heat.
Whip the egg in a bowl, then add it to the pot.
Whisk in the butter, cocoa, and stevia.
Let it come to a boil, then simmer.
