If you're on keto or another low-carb diet, you can still enjoy the sweet, savory goodness of the holidays that comes with a cup of hot chocolate. I recently made this keto cocoa for my family and it's delicious! I's way creamier than boxed brands and even those who aren't on any type of diet will enjoy it.


  • 1T unsalted butter

  • 1 egg

  • 2-4T cocoa

  • 1 part heavy whipping cream

  • 2 parts water

  • stevia to taste


  1. Pour the water and heavy whipping cream in a pot on the stove and on medium heat.

  2. Whip the egg in a bowl, then add it to the pot.

  3. Whisk in the butter, cocoa, and stevia.

  4. Let it come to a boil, then simmer.
